The Global Bio Conference 2017 (GBC 2017) is an international meeting for experts in the biopharmaceutical industry. This premier event attracts over 2,000 biopharmaceutical leaders from all over the world. GBC 2017 will take place at the InterContinental Seoul COEX Hotel, Korea from June 28th to 30th, 2017. The conference is hosted by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and organized by the Korea Biomedicine Industry Association.
The conference aims to share the latest development trends and global issues in biopharmaceuticals, and to establisha network of cooperation among leading experts. The main theme for GBC 2017 is, “Biopharmaceuticals - Future of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.” In this conference, a variety of topics will be covered such as, vaccines, blood products, DNA recombinant products, cell & gene therapies, human tissues, GMP, biostatistics, and cosmetics. Experts from academic institutes, industry, and regulatory authorities will share the latest regulatory information and biotechnology trends.

In June 2017, Ministry Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) holds Global Bio Conference at InterContinental Seoul COEX, Korea.
To realize the vision of a country with “safer food and drugs, healthier people and happier community,” the MFDS is putting great efforts to extend the safety net further for more people to enjoy their life to the fullest. This will be achieved by putting in place stringent safety controls in food, drugs, cosmetics, herbal medicines, and medical devices, providing the industry with practical and optimum support, and engaging in activities for enhanced cooperation and interactions.
